What is ‘Kesem’?
Kesem (n.): magic; the ability to change a life; an agent of growth; the unique power that transforms kids into Camp Kesem Campers
We’ll be setting up hug stations across Richmond. We think of Camp Kesem’s summer program as a hug to the kids we serve. These embraces carry them through hardship our kids face as their loved ones battle cancer.
Each embrace puts them a little closer to paradise. Hugs are free, but anyone can sponsor a hug for $5 and make those fuzzy feelings last a little longer.
