Meet the Team

Erin “T-Rex” Singleton is a senior from Johns Creek, Georgia. She is studying nursing and will be pursuing a career in pediatric care upon graduation. T-Rex has been involved in Camp Kesem since freshman year and has served as a counselor, committee leader, development coordinator, and is currently serving as a director. In her free time, she likes to travel, hike and babysit. Camp Kesem UGA has brought her so many lifelong friendships, and she is so thankful to be a part of this organization.

Rachel “Wild” Priest is a sophomore Journalism major with a double minor in History and French. She is originally from Minnesota but now resides in Suwanee. She is not actually wild–she just loves the Minnesota Wild hockey team–and she is actually pretty calm. Wild loves reading, photography, writing, traveling, dark chocolate and all things camp. This is her first year as an AMP coordinator, and she can’t wait for all this upcoming year brings!

Shona “Crumpet” Wilson is a second-year Public Relations and Sports Management major. In her spare time, she loves to travel, ski, run and cheer on the dawgs!! This is her first year on the executive board, and she cannot wait to be back at camp in just a few short months!

Nikki “Salsa” Edwards is serving as a Make the Magic Coordinator at UGA alongside Sprinkles! She is a second-year Health Promotion major from Marietta, Georgia. Her favorite activities from Camp Kesem this past summer were cabin chat with her 8-year-old campers and playing Gaga Ball! When she’s not at camp, she enjoys reading and watching UGA football. She can’t wait to be back at Camp Kesem this summer!

Ana “Ninja” Levie-Sprick is a fourth-year biology and psychology double major at UGA. This is her fourth year with Camp Kesem and her second year on the executive board. While at camp, you’ll probably find her playing Pterodactyl or the participating in the occasional round of Ninja. When she’s not at camp, she enjoys cooking/baking, crocheting and practicing aikido. She can’t wait to reconnect with Camp Kesem UGA’s amazing families and meet all of our new campers this summer.

Slopes is a fourth year student at UGA studying Health Promotion and Business Management. She is from Littleton, Colorado and that is how she got her nickname “Slopes”. As an ops coordinator, she gets to plan the week of camp and all of the activities that everyone enjoys. She loves messy games, empower hour, and especially cabin chat! When not at camp, she enjoys trips with her lacrosse team and exploring restaurants in Athens. She’s looking forward to another amazing week of camp this summer!

Cydney “Squid” White is a senior studying Advertising, Women’s Studies and New Media. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants and cheering on the dawgs! This is Squid’s fourth and final year with Camp Kesem UGA, and she can’t wait to watch all of the magic made by new and returning counselors!

Nationwide Community

How Kesem National Supports This Chapter

Kesem’s national staff of over 30 professionals is involved in all aspects of establishing and supporting each of our 100+ chapters nationwide as well as the training and oversight of all college student leaders. Our leadership program has been developed over the last 17 years and, while both rigorous and demanding, is focused on providing the highest level of support, service and safety for the children who participate in our programs.

The Kesem Program Director for this chapter (see below) is involved in all aspects of camp and our additional services. While your local student leaders are your primary contact for questions, you are also welcome and encouraged to contact their Program Director with other specific questions.

Meet This Chapter's Program Director

Jean-Luc Rivera, Regional Program Director – jean-luc@kesem.org

Jean-Luc joined the Camp Kesem National team in 2017 as a Regional Program Director. He first got involved with Camp Kesem in 2014 as a counselor with the Camp Kesem at North Carolina chapter and returned as a counselor again for his senior year. After graduating, he worked for Camp Corral, a camping nonprofit that provides military children with a free camping experience. There he was able to learn the ropes of the camping world and develop his passion for camp even more. He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 2015 with a Bachelor of the Arts in Biology. He is from Raleigh, North Carolina and currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
