WANT TO BE A CAMP KESEM CAMPER?

We filled our capacity at 80 campers in June 2012. This year, we’re excited to expand our camp to 100 campers!

Camper applications will be online for the first time in 2013. We will provide a direct link on the homepage as well as this one once they are prepared.

Eligibility

Camp Kesem is available to children aged 6-16 who have a parent with cancer in the Chicagoland area (Chicago, Milwaukee and northwest Indiana region). Counselors in Training is available for teens aged 17-18. Camp Kesem Northwestern is a secular camp and is open to all children regardless or race, religion, color, national origin or financial status. Camp Kesem is completely free of charge.

Our Camp Site

Camp Kesem Northwestern will be held at Camp Kupugani. Bus transportation will be provided from Northwestern University to and from camp. Camp Kupugani has a wide range of activities available such as archery, surrounding nature trails, and a lake. Typical Activities campers will be engaged in will include: swimming, sports, threater, crafts, rowing, adventure outings, arts & crafts, ropes courses and much much more!
