Our camp is now full–we can’t wait for a wonderful week with our 111 campers!On December 27 2011, CK MIT tragically lost one of our past counselors Phyo “Yo-Yo” Nyi Nyi Kyaw. A tribute page has been setup in his honor, as well as a scholarship fund here.
Camp Kesem MIT 2012 was a phenomenal success with 87 campers and 48 counselors (plus 4 admin, 1 camp advisor, 2 teen advisors, 1 nurse, 1 therapist, 4 interpreters and a CK National program director and professional photographer) participating. Camp Kesem MIT, a student-run summer camp for kids whose parents have or have had cancer, is gearing up for our seventh camp session in August 2013!
