Co-Chairs

Kristin Roth Co-Chair

Kristin “Tootie” Roth

Hey hey! My name is Kristin and I am studying Mass Communication and Cultural Studies at the University of Minnesota. I absolutely adore children and am so excited to bring the magic back to Camp Kesem Minnesota for our second year. I have a passion for helping others and love meeting new people – especially CK campers and their families! I am a very curious person, so I love to try new things! I also love to cook and bake, spend time outdoors, and I love being a major goofball with my family and friends – I’m a true kid at heart. I am so proud of our team this year at Camp Kesem Minnesota and I can’t wait for us all to spend the best week of the year together with all of our campers!

Alek Tomich Co-Chair

Alek “Pecs” Tomich

I am currently a junior at the U of M, studying Architecture with a minor in Construction Management.  I come from Waukesha, WI, and am of a family of five kids including myself.  When I was a kid, my brothers and I were put through the pain of watching my father pass away from skin cancer.  I “Kesem” because ever since then I’ve always wanted to help kids that are going through the same experience, by giving them a chance to have fun and meet new friends who can relate to them.  Being a Co-Chair is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in these kids’ lives. In my spare time I like to be outdoors, spend time with friends and family, and of course on Sundays watch the Packers dominate whichever team they play on the field.  I am excited to be a part of Camp Kesem, and am so excited to continue this awesome organization at Minnesota!

In my free time I love to be outside, whether I am playing soccer, camping, rock climbing, snowboarding, and basically any sport. I am really excited for CK this summer to reunite with the awesome campers from last year, and have our new campers join in the fun!
