Miami

Camp 2014 was AMAZING!!

Camp Kesem Miami is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, supporting children through and beyond their parent’s cancer. Through Camp Kesem Miami, we work to offer a safe and magical environment where these children can be surrounded by their peers who understand a little more about what they are going through in their parent’s cancer journey. We offer them a free week-long summer camp, a place to rediscover their childhood and enjoy a week of just being kids surround by those who understand.

Thank you to everyone who helped make camp possible this year! We were able to serve over 60 campers with the help of over 30 student counselors. Be on the lookout for applications for Camp 2015 opening in November for returning families and January for new families!

Due to the financial burden placed on families coping with cancer, Camp Kesem programs are offered free of charge. Transportation to and from camp and all meals are included.

CAMPSITE

This Summer camp will be held at Camp Winona. This place offers a beautiful lake for activities such as canoeing and sailing and air conditioned cabins. For more information you can check out its website. Its address is 898 Camp Winona Rd, De Leon Springs, FL 32130. We will be providing transportation from the University of Miami, but for campers farther up north, they can meet us at the campsite if you wish.
