Campers & Parents

Camp Kesem JHU will be held from August 16-21, 2015 for kids, ages 6-16, with a parent and/or guardian that has (or has had) cancer. The average cost of a camper is $500, but with the help of the money raised by JHU students and the generous donations from Camp Kesem supporters, camp is free! Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Our 65 spots are currently full, but there is a wait list forming. Be sure to apply, and we will notify you if you are taken off the wait list and are accepted to attend camp!

Camp Kesem aims to establish year-round support for camper families so we also organize Fall and Spring Reunions that all camper families are welcome to attend. We also try to be there for families whenever we can in terms of cheering up campers that are going through hard times with special visits from counselors or whatever else we can assist with, at the guardians’ request. We would love to have you be part of the Camp Kesem family so register today! The theme for this year’s camp is Out of this World, so get ready to explore space!

Application Process
Applications can be completed online. The link for applications can be found here! Be sure to add the Johns Hopkins camp to your cart.
