My name is Kristen Roe and I am a senior majoring in Informatics with minors in Business and Nonprofit Management. I am originally from Lake Zurich, IL but decided to attend IU because of Informatics program and the beautiful campus. I became involved with Camp Kesem because of a current counselor who lived in my hometown and have been hooked on CK every since my first week of camp. I could not be any happier that I found this amazing organization and cannot wait for camp this summer. |

I first became involved with Kesem my freshman year with Camper Care and I’ve loved it every since! I consider myself incredibly lucky to volunteer with such phenomenal members and families!

I’m from Bloomington IN, and decided to attend IU because I love the school and the campus. I have been involved in Camp Kesem since I was 11 years old and attended as a Camper. I love Camp Kesem and that is why I continued to do it as a volunteer at IU. I have experienced the magic from both sides and I think that I am amazingly lucky to have this organization in my life. |

My hometown is Evansville, IN, where I spend time humming camp songs, making friendship bracelets, and waiting to go back to Princeton, IN where the magic happens at CAMP KESEM. I heard about Camp Kesem from a “fishy” counselor, who told me I had to do camp because it would make my life. AND SHE WAS RIGHT! I am originally from Evansville, IN and chose to attend Indiana University because of the great science program, big ten atmosphere, and can’t forget, the gorgeous campus. I heard about camp through an alum from my hometown and got involved with the fundraising committee my freshman year. Joining Camp Kesem was the best decision I made coming into college and I cannot picture myself without the friendships and memories that I have made thus far, and will continue to make with the years to come. |

Hello! My name is Steve “Hobbes” Jastrow and I am a junior studying Sport Marketing/Management with minors in business and informatics. I am from Naperville, Illinois and found my way to IU because of the amazing campus and great Sports Business program that they offer. I became involved with CK after a couple friends told me it was the best thing they have done during their own college careers. I always had an interest in being a camp counselor after spending time as a kid at a lot of them back home. I have to agree with my friends that this is the best decision I’ve made during my time at IU and look forward to two more years with CKIU. |

I got involved in Camp Kesem my freshmen year and have been in love with it since day 1! The friends I have made through camp have become some of my best friends today and even feel like family. The kids at our camp are the most inspirational people I have ever had the honor to meet and spend the best week of my life with. Their tragic stories give me hope each and everyday and I could not be more blessed to be involved in this amazing organization. |
