Hello once again Kesem families! I’m posting briefly to inform you of an exciting bit of Kesem news that has been shared with the campers and that we couldn’t wait to share with you! As many of you know, Camp Kesem Augustana just have its very first year. However, you may not know the amount of paperwork that goes on behind the scenes in order to make camp possible. With that, Camp Kesem Augustana Coordinators had much to do before camp, and all that work has been rewarded not only by having camp, but also by Camp Kesem Nationals. Because our camp did so well on their paperwork and their recruitment and fundraising for our first year, we have been granted the opportunity to host a teen camp next year!
What does this mean? Having a teen camp means that we can now accept campers ages 6 through 16. The campers ages 14 to 16 will do different activities than the younger campers, but they will still attend the same week of camp and have the same group of counselors. It is a great honor to be granted this camp after our first year and we cannot wait to welcome new campers into the Kesem family as well as welcome back returning ones. Enjoy the rest of your summers and we look forward to hearing from you throughout the year.
