Events provide the opportunity to meet our student leaders, camper families, board members, staff and volunteers – plus they are always FUN! Camp Kesem Share the Magic
You provide the location, food, drinks and friends… we provide the parent, camper, and student speakers to share the Kesem “magic” with those close to you. The Share the Magic Kit is available here for download, then contact us to plan your event: magic@campkesem.org

Camp Kesem cordially invites you to our 2nd Annual Susan’s Magic Makers on September 21, 2013 in Santa Monica, CA! Join us for an evening of philanthropy and campfire coziness on the Santa Monica beach. Inspired by the example of Susan Nelson Fleiss and honoring the LIVESTRONG Foundation, this event honors visionaries who have turned the tragedy of cancer diagnosis into triumph and are bettering the lives of those affected by cancer. All proceeds benefit the Susan Nelson Fleiss Memorial Fund at Camp Kesem, ensuring the organization’s ability to bring Camp Kesem programming to more of the 3 million children affected by a parent’s cancer.

Merrell’s Oyster – The Race – Austin, Texas

Over 30 volunteers participated in this “fearless” FUN filled day that benefitted Camp Kesem Texas A&M and Camp Kesem University of Texas.
Merrell Oyster – The Race is the ultimate urban hybrid adventure, sending teams of 3-6 racers out on a mystery course around the city. Heading into its 9th season, Oyster is the longest running “urban adventure race” in the USA.
Oyster teams combine athleticism with thought-provoking strategy and may expect to be running, biking, kayaking, rock climbing and performing other crazy stunts while solving clues and utilizing technology in a race around the city.
At the finish line, racers spend the rest of the afternoon drinking cold beer and re-fueling with Chipotle while reminiscing about their day of adventure. This amped, one-day race will have you challenging the predictable!

Our 4th Annual Golf Tournament was a fantastic event! Special thanks to our title sponsor HCL, and our corporate sponsors AON Hewitt, AT&T, Liberty Mutual, Vista Lexus of Woodland Hills, Verizon Business, ca Technologies, Net App, EMC Corporation, Tibco, UST Global, Tellabs, Array Systems, and Riverbed.
We also wanted to thank celebrity golfers Marcus Allen, Willie Gault, Richard Gant, Dondre Whitfield, and Phil Hurrle for bringing their energy and fun to the day.
After a terrific day on the links, we held a very special cocktail reception (sponsored by Latham & Watkins), which featured personal stories from one of our camper families, along with an overview of Camp Kesem by our CEO, Jane Saccaro.
