Camp Kesem cordially invites you to our 2nd Annual Susan’s Magic Makers on September 21, 2013 in Santa Monica, CA! Join us for an evening of philanthropy and campfire coziness on the Santa Monica beach. Inspired by the example of Susan Nelson Fleiss and honoring the LIVESTRONG Foundation, this event honors visionaries who have turned the tragedy of cancer diagnosis into triumph and are bettering the lives of those affected by cancer. All proceeds benefit the Susan Nelson Fleiss Memorial Fund at Camp Kesem, ensuring the organization’s ability to bring Camp Kesem programming to more of the 3 million children affected by a parent’s cancer.

Thank you SO MUCH for making our March 9, 2012 Family Night at the Museum wildly successful. Over 950 families enjoyed scrumptious camp food, games and entertainment, at the amazing Chicago Field Museum venue. Photos available soon!

Our 4th Annual Golf Tournament was a fantastic event! Special thanks to our title sponsor HCL, and our corporate sponsors AON Hewitt, AT&T, Liberty Mutual, Vista Lexus of Woodland Hills, Verizon Business, ca Technologies, Net App, EMC Corporation, Tibco, UST Global, Tellabs, Array Systems, and Riverbed.
We also wanted to thank celebrity golfers Marcus Allen, Willie Gault, Richard Gant, Dondre Whitfield, and Phil Hurrle for bringing their energy and fun to the day.
After a terrific day on the links, we held a very special cocktail reception (sponsored by Latham & Watkins), which featured personal stories from one of our camper families, along with an overview of Camp Kesem by our CEO, Jane Saccaro. Our Camp Kesem student leaders from UCLA and USC were on-hand to share the “magic” of Camp Kesem in person. Clickhere to see photos of the event. The first annual Susan Nelson Fleiss Memorial Fund Dinner was a huge success! The event included some very special speakers, including Camp Kesem UCLA campers "107" and "Bamboo", Executive Director Jane Saccaro, and Eric Fleiss. The program was MC'd by Camp Director Scott Arizala. The evening ended with guests roasting marshmallows on the Santa Monica beach – a perfect way to capture the magical feeling of Camp Kesem. A special thanks to the planning committee and the Jonathan Beach Club for hosting the event.
