Join a Committee

Camp Kesem committees work throughout the year to organize all the behind-the-scenes details that make Camp Kesem possible. Volunteering on a committee is a great way help Camp Kesem grow in the most fundamental way and the weekly commitment is rarely more than two hours! Committee members are given preference if they choose to apply as a counselor. There are three committees that need your help:

Administration & Camp Programming

• Develop camp programming
• Manage budget and finance matters of the camp
• Manage pre-camp facility/operations issues

Camper Care

• Connect with cancer-related community organizations to reach families
• Recruit and select campers; manage pre-camp relations with families of selected campers
• Attain local media coverage for Camp Kesem

Fundraising

• Solicit foundations, organizations, corporations and individuals for financial support for the camp
• Organize on-campus fundraising efforts
