Columbia

Welcome to Camp Kesem at Columbia!
Kesem (n.): magic; the ability to change a life; an agent of growth; the unique power that transforms kids into Camp Kesem Campers
Our main mission is to provide kids whose parents have or have had cancer with a summer camp experience that gives them a chance to be kids. To us, this means doing everything in our power to provide as much fun for the kids as humanly possible in the span of one week.
Furthermore, Camp Kesem allows college students to channel their passion for making a difference, while developing critical leadership skills for long term social impact. The one week of camp is completely student run and we work year-round to ensure sufficient funding and an overall enjoyable and unforgettable experience for our campers.
Camp Kesem Columbia 2013 will be held from AUGUST 25-30, 2013. Camp will be held at Camp Ockanickon in Medford, NJ. (You can visit the camp website here.)
